Habitat range is Columbia into Ecuador and Peru. Warm to Intermediate Grower. The habitats have a distinct dry season. So a dry winter rest is necessary for good blooming. Enjoys Very Bright Shade. Water Well, Never Allow to totally Dry.Plants are usually grown in open baskets, so pendant inflorescences can emerge from bottom of basket. Regular, Non Urea fertilizer promotes good growth. Culture is warm to intermediate, bright and moist.
