A medium sized epiphyte which grows on small trees. This species produces slender pendant pseudobulbs (canes). The fragrant flowers appear in the spring and summer, on leafless canes which were new growth the previous year. New growth commences at same time as flowering. Winter rest may be best to encourage flowering.
