- Aerides multiflorum are grown in plastic or wood baskets. The fragrant white/fuschia flower spikes are pendant from the stems of the plant. All Aerides enjoy frequent waterings, heavy fertilizing, and very bright shade to direct morning light. The genus Aerides occurs from India through Malaysia into New Guinea. Some species of these genus are found in China and the Philippines. Flowering is usually spring into early summer.
