Stanhopea wardii 574ss

SEEDLING SIZE, Not in bloom
Summer to fall bloomer, with 3 to 10 flowers.
Flowers are 4 to 5 inches wide and fragrant.
The flowers last 3 - 7 days.
Can be found growing on rocks and trees in the forests of
Nicaragua, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia and Venezuela
at 2500 to 6000 feet in elevation.
Bright shade is best
Keep in warm temperatures and water regularly.
Plants are best grown in open baskets, so pendant inflorecences can emerge.
Regular, Non Urea fertilizer promotes good growth
Blooming in Months, Not Years.
