SPECIES - SEPTEMBER

Dendrobium aggregatum ---sepals, petals and lip dark, rich yellow; lip darker yellow gold at base. Grows well mounted, with heavy water and fertilizer, during spring to fall. Dry through winter, until early spring.  More Culture Info

Rhynchostylis gigantea "Spots" --- Long pendant fox tails of fragrant flowers with white sepals and petals, heavily spotted with red/lavendar. Best grown in warm, humid conditions in open basket, with heavy water and feeding, during the summer growing season. Late winter to early spring bloomer. Grown like a Vanda   More Culture Info

Vanda tessellata (syn. roxburghii) --- greenish yellow sepals and petals, overlaid with dark brown tessellations. 5 -10 long lasting fragrant flowers, with white lip. Brassavola nodosa-----The famed "Lady of the Night". The dorsal sepal and petals are chartreuse, Lip is white. At nightfall the flowers are fragrant.  More Culture Info

Bulbophyllum careyanum----An unique Bulbophyllum species, which grows well, hanging in a basket, with moss. Small yellow /red triangular shaped flowers, formed into a tight "pine cone" flower head, which is pendant. Blooms several times a year on each new growth, and rapidly grows into specimen plant. Grammatophyllum scriptum var citrinum , out growing a 4" plastic pot. Grammatophyllum scriptum var citrinum ranges from the Philippines throughout the Pacific Islands as far east as Java. It is a moderate large size plant , psuedobulbs can grow up to 18" with two foot leaves. Bloom spike is usually several feet long, with numerous extremely long lasting flowers. The citrinum variety blooms yellowish green to green. Easy to grow in either a warm or intermediate temperature range (45F to 95F)   More Culture Info

Vanilla planifolia----- The vining orchid, which is the source of Vanilla flavoring. 3 to 4 foot vines ready for establishing on a vertical support. Grows into a very long plant quickly, with vanilla scented flowers.  More Culture Info

Dendrobium Pink Zebra---- Medium size Dendrobium, Dark pink flowers, with darker pink stripes, held high above the foliage. Long lasting, and often reblooms from older "canes".    More Culture Info

Lc Secret Love----Several large Pink/Lavender flowers on compact growth. Blooms several times a year on each new growth.    More Culture Info

Oncidium Alliance Hybrids ---- Multi flowered Oncidium Alliance Hybrids, Florist quality blooms. Grower's Choice. These plants may in spike or bud, but cannot guarantee safe arrival of buds or spikes.   More Culture Info

Phalaenopsis [All Aglow Pisqah x (Aries x Taisuco Sheen)] "Mini Compot"----A newly released Phalaenopsis hybrid. An yellow/gold to bronze colored flower which blooms on small plants. Flowers are 4-5 inches. Seedling cross each plant will flower slightly different from its siblings . Some have already spiked in the grow trays. Cirrhopetalum Lion King---- Medium size creamy flowers with heavy wine striping on sepals, red to purple lip. Late Summer to Fall bloomer.   More Culture Info

Oncidium Gower Ramsey ---- One of the "yellow dancing ladies", which is a variable bloomer, with bright yellow lip. The petals and sepals are also bright yellow, but spotted near the base with red.   More Culture Info

Phalaenopsis (Jackie Deborio 'OrchidHeights' X Taisuco Kalladian 'Orchid Heights' "Mini Compot" ----Another newly released Phalaenopsis hybrid. An white colored flower which blooms on small plants. The petals and sepals have light candy stripes. Seedling cross each plant will flower slightly different from its siblings . Some have already spiked in the grow trays. Flowers are 4.5 to 5 inches.
