Described by Dr. Lindley in 1838. This species inhabits a range in Burma down the Malaya peninsula. Flowers are small individually measuring 10mm, but with a pendant inflorescence up to 12 cm (5 in) composed of hundreds of flowers. Flowers in Fall.
