Miltassia is a hybrid between species and hybrids of the genus Miltonia and the genus Brassia. Miltassia (Mtssa.) Shelob is Mtssa. Olmec by Brassia Edvah Loo. The clone "Tolkien' was awarded an AOS Award of Merit of 80 points in 1998. The awarded flowers were 15.5 cms. in natural vertical spread.
