Trichoglottis atropurpurea

often seen as Trichoglottis brachiata or
Trichoglottis phillippinensis var. brachiata orchid

Trichoglottis atropurpurea A beautiful, vining orchid with deep purple flowers. The flowers are produced along the stem, between the leaves. Best grown mounted or in a basket, so it may ramble. Plants need vertical support as they grow. Typical Vanda care with bright light, plenty of water, fertilizer, and air movement. Water heavily and allow to dry. The plant produces aerial roots, which can be watered often, if they dry quickly.
